Happy Birthday to me

I know it is kind of awkward to be... "announcing" your own birthday like this, but that's not my intention anyways--
It has been a very eventful year for me. An emotional roller coaster even. I truly feel like I'm a different person than I was one year ago. And I'm so thankful to have friendly faces that help me out on my worst days. I want to thank everyone that has been here for me. Those who kept this place active and friendly. Because if it wasn't for this, I'm not quite sure where I'd be today.
So, maybe not a big deal to everyone else, but quite a milestone for me. Sweet 17, to me!

Ha, that makes me feel young. You're probably being like "why is this kid thinking she's old?" But I feel like that every year. Looking back, 16 year old me was an infant.
