You would think after receiving an all clear after going on for a mammogram callback, I would be on cloud nine. However, yesterday I noticed a small lump in my armpit. I have had these before but all I can think is that the doctor dropped the ball on my mammogram. I have put warm compresses on it and I think I see a slight head forming but I have also succeeded in making it painful with all the poking and prodding. Why do we do this to ourselves?

My husband gets those lumps sometimes. His doctor said it is a clogged gland. Keep up with the warm compresses, take a pain reliever, and if the pain gets worse or the lump gets bigger and/or is red and warm to the touch, go see a doctor and get some antibiotics =) It will clear up in no time!
