Does anyone else's anxiety or panic seem to originate from the pit of there stomach? Like butterflies but on steroids? Even when I'm nervous there seems to be that wooshing feeling in my gut that usually extends to the rest of my body making me shaky and stuff. It's been a difficult road I'm a construction worker and had to drive a big piece of machinery down the highway today. I had this feeling by the time I was done I was sea sick and out of sorts.
I'm assuming it's adrenaline?? Should I be feeling that?

Yes, that's anxiety... I'm sure your pulse probably goes up when this happens too... Nausea perhaps as well...
But yea from what you are describing (which is very difficult to describe) it sounds like General Anxiety that you deal with.

This happen to me again tonight I drink a few glasses of diet cherry pepsi and my stomach started feeling like you described it almost set me into a panic attack. I drink some water then laid down for a few. I may end up having to give up caffeine completely. Slowly but surely it seems like anxiety is trying to take away everything that I enjoy in life.

When this used to happen to me I always said it was like a nervous energy. Just the way it felt to me.

I do not think its safe to be in construction, while having these sorts of attacks. It could be what i call hyper nervousness. I think you should be diagnosed by a doctor first and let your manager know about these feelings. I suppose it depends on how often these "attacks" occur. Good luck.
