A dear friend of mine just posted two snaps, one said “I have no reason to live without him” and the other said “why couldn’t I have been perfect for him?” She has a history of severe depression and her boyfriend is an alcoholic that treats her poorly. Based on those posts I think he broke up with her. I’m extremely worried because she’s not responding to me or any of her friends as far as I know. We are all extremely worried and my anxiety is going off like crazy over it. I’m worried she might have already done something rash. I just don’t know what we should do to help. My friend says if she doesn’t respond soon he’ll drive over to her house and check on her, but it may be to late.

Update:

She’s ok, she finally responded. She said she had a friend over last night and that they stayed up late so she was sleeping in and that’s why she didn’t respond.

I think you need to stay in constant communication with your friend. Offer solutions and ears that listen to her cry, be open and honest and expect that from her.
