Freaking out

I just got my health records I didn’t know or remember I had a head ct scan in 2006 and a neck ct scan in 2009 also had a abdominal ct scan 2013 I’m losing it scared I through stupidity increases my odds of getting sick

Danny - I think I've had 3 abdominal ct scans, 2 head and 1 chest. Plus way more than I can remember plain old x-rays. I'm scared too. I don't know what I'll do next time I'm told to get one because the benefits outweigh the risk. Wish I had something more helpful to say, but at least know that I understand.

Doctors wouldn't knowingly subject a patient to any testing that would potentially harm the patient. They know what they're doing. Lots of people go through far more scans on a regular basis, and they're fine. You'll be fine, too.
