I've had anxiety for several years but it got worse and i started feeling slightly off balance and now about a year and half has went by and I full blown am off balance/dizzy feeling all the time when walking or standing. It's not a normal kind of dizziness like with the room spinning. It's more like dizzy on the inside and in my head. My head gets heavy at the same time. I feel weird things on the inside when I'm walking, like dropping and movements or swaying. I constantly think about how I'm feeling when I walk and stand. I want to hold onto stuff, and when I do, like a shopping cart, it doesn't happen.
I can feel my body randomly dip or move forward all of a sudden on the inside while I'm walking. Sometimes it feels like I'm gliding. I look like I'm walking normally. Occasionally I feel the floor drop out beneath me or the floor feel bouncy. I get scared when I have to walk and stand now and I know that only makes it worse.
Does this happen to anyone else?
