Feeling like I’m on a boat

I got back on meds Wednesday and by Friday I started feeling nauseous and light headed as if I’m trying to stand while on a boat. I spoke to my doctor who said stop the meds for a few days because these could be side effects. I haven’t taken the meds since Saturday yet here I am Wednesday and I still feel light headed as if I’m trying to walk on a boat. My legs feel heavy at times. My head feels like there’s pressure there. I’ve never had this as part of my anxiety. My anxiety has always been heart related. Never had an issue with being dizzy or light headed except for here and there. But now I’m going on 5 days of this feeling and it’s scaring me. I called my therapist and she thinks it’s my anxiety but I don’t know. I haven’t been going to work lately cuz I’m afraid to drive while feeling like this. I drive short distances but not far. Anybody ever dealt with these symptoms for several days/weeks? Should I go to the ER? My best friend is also a doctor and he doesn’t think it’s serious instead he thinks it’s my anxiety.

It could be anxiety, or maybe it's related to sinuses. Sinus pressure can cause similar symptoms.

Do sinuses last for days/weeks? I always deal with allergies and sinuses but usually it’s a stuffed nose and headache but never being light headed 5 straight days

Yes. You don't have to have most / all symptoms. The issues can linger, and so can symptoms.

I’m just not sure if it’s anxiety, sinuses, both or something serious :(
it is very unlikely serious. it could be sinus related, could be due to dehydration... heck... it COULD be caused by anxiety. it's unlikely anything serious. while i don't think it's necessary to make an appointment, if the dizziness continues, maybe send your doctor a message and let them know what's going.

Going on one week now of this light headed feeling. Yesterday I barely had it and today for the most part I didn’t feel it but now it’s back. Every time I get happy that it’s gone, it comes back and I feel light headed. Anybody ever deal with being light headed for days/weeks at a time?

Absolutely ! Multiple times, unfortunately. The only thing that would make it better for me was to keep myself busy. Also. Try laying your hands flat on a flat, cold surface and take a deep breath. It helps with dizziness. I hope you get to feeling better, that is one of the worst and most annoying symptoms I have experienced.

I am dizzy and light headed multiple times every week .....I have dealt with this for 20 years +.....I know my anxiety makes it worse ....as my anxiety makes EVERYTHING worse. I take an allergy sinus pill for sinus pressure and go for a quiet walk and practice relaxation exercises.....it gets better....breath ...it gets better.
