Feeling discouraged about my dreams

I'm feeling kinda discouraged. I've had a dream for a while now about creating a sustainable makeup brand. I don't want it to stay at small business status. I want it to be big. I want to help stop waste in the makeup industry. But I feel like
1. The market for makeup is so saturated now and what if I don't stand out enough.
2. I don't even know where to get started. I don't wanna mix it together at home. I wanna put out an amazing product, and have standards and do it in a warehouse. And capitalism is trying to get in my head with the "well it doesn't contribute to society" "its unimportant" and other things.
I just don't know where to start. All I know is that I'm tired of working retail and sacrificing my feet everyday for a check. I had to lie out of work yesterday because my feet were killing me that bad. I can do it but its not preferred I wanna do what I love to do.

You are still only a teen. You have plenty of years ahead of you yet. I would suggest a course or two. Learn the ropes. Business would be good to learn. That is what you want to start. Have to work out how such a thing could be financed. Would need either investment or a lot of your own money. Take a few years to learn how to do things the right way. This would be the part people would love to skip over. But it the part that would need to be done so you have a plan. All these big stars you see with their own brands don't actually make what their names are on. They simply get paid for the use of their name. So then we come to making the producy itself? Won't be done in a small room at home. Unless you are thinking small. To make on bulk you would need to hire out a warehouse or something similar. Kit it out with everything needed. More money. Plan while you are still young. Learn what needs to be learned. You never know were you will end up.

That’s an awesome aspiration! I occasionally wear makeup and I’d totally go towards a responsible brand that cared about it’s waste! That’s an awesome idea and I fully support you chasing it. It is true that growing a big business takes a lot of time though. A business degree or certificate is a great place to start. There’s also some really fantastic people out there teaching online courses on business and such just from what they’ve learned. I’d recommend finding someone who started out like you are now, but who has succeeded in the industry or something similar, see what you can learn from them. Almost all markets are saturated. I started a yoga business a few months ago and that’s like the most saturated business ever. So I hear you. What I’ve learned in a saturated market is that people will still pay if they like you and feel connected to you. If they like your story, your ethics, etc. and if your product is good on top of that. Put yourself out there, find your people. Discern your SPECIFIC market. I mean, nail down your ideal client in as much detail as you can. Build from there. Good luck! You can do it!
