Hello yall!

I am a 32 year old female. Never diagnosed with anything serious. For the last 6 months, I have dealt with on and off ear pain. I also suffer from migraines with auras and my vision has been disturbed by room lighting more often. About a month ago, my left ear drained just enough that I felt it and my inner ear was wet. Last night it happened again. A week ago I started having sinus pain. I have been on antibiotics recently for strep and an ear infection, but the ear issue is still there.

With in this past week of my sinus pain, I have started to feel off balance, foggy headed, and feel like I am always losing thought and short memory. I am starting to panic and keep crying on and off that I have a tumor or bacterial infection in my brain. I let it all go so long in hopes it would clear up. Some days are worse than others. I have found myself sitting here crying on and off and always thinking of it. I go to the ENT tomorrow to see what they can tell me. Anyone else feeling this way?

All I can tell you is that I have had brain tumor fears since I was 12..and so far ( I am 35) nothing! I too suffer from migraines and sometimes pain reflects in my ear...from what you are mentioning is clearly from the ear infection and sinus .keep me posted ...I know that no matter what I tell you u need reassurance from doctor ..so let us know what they tell you . Don't be afraid of telling them that you think is a brain tumor even though u feel is irrational I. Ihave learned that being open with doctors about a my anxiety helps me and helps them be more sympathetic

Thank you so much for your kind words. I am really hoping it is nothing. The brainfog/memory loss things and the ear issues the last 6 months freak me out. Of course Dr Google tells me my spinal fluid may be leaking out my ear or I have a bacterial infection in my brain. I just hope they do a scan and assure me there is nothing there but sinus/ear issues.

I can't imagine worrying about that since being 12!

It is strange that you are having brain fog with your ear infection but maybe it is affecting it in that way. I get brain fog too but it is due to life experiences. Does your doctor know that you get brain fog? You may get or feel heavy headed due to a sinus and ear infection but it shouldn't have been going on for this long. I hope they find whats wrong quickly. Good luck at the ENT today.

Thank you. I am thinking since I am freaking out that they will say I'm dying that my anxiety is causing my brain to freak out. I know anxiety and stress can do some crazy stuff. I will update after my appt.
