Ears Problem

In both of my ears, the eustachian tube hurts and itches sometimes, and it has been a couple of days. Sometimes they itch when I swallow water (which is why I think it's the euestacian tubes). Don't really think it has someting to do with the air pressure since I don't feel that "fullness" or ear drum being pushed inwards or outwards. I'm a frequent earphone/headphones user but it never occured before. Plus, I can't really help it becuase most days I need to wear earphones with white noises/asmr to fall asleep.
I don't have a fever or other related symptoms.
Any idea as to what it is and what I can do to help?

Please help. It is still happening, and I currently have an upper respiratory infection. I'm starting to slip back into being anxious about my health. Please help.

Hi @Kelculator sounds more like a cold with irritated euestacian. You mentioned that you are now experiencing an upper respiratory infection. That can all be related with each other.
Don’t worry too much, I bet with you that it will be gone within the next week or two. Maybe reduce the volume a bit until it gets better?

Hey there @Kelculator ! Sorry we all seemed to miss this earlier. I agree with @Rinka on this one - an upper respiratory infection definitely affects your ears. If you're treating that infection, your ears will be just fine - it's all connected. What gives you some relief from the sinus and infection? Do you like hot tea? That's how I get through winter weather and sicknesses...and just pray for spring. lol

@Kelculator - The respiratory system and ears are connected. When I had my bad bout of bronchitis, my ears made all sorts of weird sensations from time to time. And yes it gave me anxiety too. But you will be okay.

As your chest infection heals up , your ears should get better too. Just understand that it might get worse before it gets better. But you will get through it. Rest, warm liquids and faith.
