For the last 8 weeks I’ve had headaches daily in the back of my head right side always there, pain behind my eyes and dizziness, sometimes my arms and legs are weak I feel like I’m going to collapse it’s mostly on my right side, I’ve had neurological examinations for strength and reflexes and balance which the dr says was normal?i don’t find it normal having all this daily for 8 weeks and I’m really worried has anyone been through similar? Thank you

have the doctors given you any indication as to what they thought may causing this? all of the things you're experiencing CAN be caused by stress and anxiety. is that a significant issue for you? i'd assume so since you are here.

Hi matisworried, I first went to the dr and he said it was anxiety I went again and he said the same thing so it got to 6 weeks of having these symptoms daily and I made an appointment with a different gp and he prescribed me tablets for two weeks there amitriptyline it’s incase I have a trapped nerve causing this, if there is no difference by Tuesday I’m getting referred for a ct scan but I’m really scared and worry all the time incase it’s something bad. Thanks for your reply
Foot ball mom how long have you had these symptoms and does your gp/dr say what he or she thinks is causing this for you? I’ve not come across anyone with all the same symptoms everyday before. Thank you for the reply

have you been "researching" (googling) neurological diseases/your symptoms?

i had a year long MS-scare following an abnormality found on an MRI ordered to look for the cause of some hearing issues i have. prior to the MRI, i'd never concerned myself with neurological stuff. however, after the spot was found (and after doing "some" "internet research") symptoms started popping up left and right... everything from weakness, numbness, tingling... i was convinced i was gravely ill. the worst part was that i had to wait a year to get a follow-up scan to know for sure. during that period, my anxiety was through the roof and my symptoms steadily got worse. then i got the scan. no changes. everything was good. i didn't have MS. it took a little while to process this, but once i did, my symptoms started slowly going away. the symptoms i was experiencing, the symptoms that were VERY real... were all created by my brain.

if you are incredibly anxious about this, it is very possible that your mind is playing some very ugly tricks on you. the fact that you passed strength testing is excellent news and makes anxiety even more likely.

brain tumors are very rare. i know this because that was the main reason the mri was ordered (i have hearing loss in one ear and that is a red flag for tumor, i guess.)

doctors know what to look for and if any of your symptoms or tests indicated further testing was necessary, they would have ordered it.

matisworried, I know there rare but I get worried as my dr says everything is anxiety, I had my blood pressure checked it was high without me asking he said that’s because your anxious and I wasn’t that’s just an example, is it possible all my symptoms are anxiety and all day every day?
