With all the new strands of the virus coming out, I am terrified of getting covid AGAIN. I have antibodies and other than being overweight, I am healthy. I was only congested and loss sense of smell and taste the first time.

This is something we all must live with, unfortunately. I've been lucky enough to avoid it thus far, but I'd be lying if I said the thought of it hasn't caused me a bit of anxiety before. Many times. It'll take some time before anyone truly understands the risk of reinfection and such. Just do your part to social distance, limit exposure, etc. That's the best any of us can do.

Thanks for the positive encouragement

I have a feeling this stupid Covid thing is going to be with us for a long time! I think we just need to be careful and see what happens. I got the vaccine, but I get that not everyone wants to get that. I am just concerned about people not wearing masks or being careful because they are not worried about getting it so they spread it to others and it keeps going. It will not stop spreading and mutating unless everyone uses common sense, which will never happen.

As you had before you should be fine for a period of time. Not sure of the exact amount of months they are saying. But when those months are up if you want to get the vaccine, that would be the way to go for you. Is worth asking your GP about. Considering you had it before. Over here people who have recovered from it are been treated the same as people who are vaccinated. As in they are considered safe. Allowed in certain place others are not allowed in. That will only last so long. Then they will need to be vaccinated.
