Coping mechanism

Wikipedia says : " Coping means to invest one's own conscious effort, to solve personal and interpersonal problems, in order to try to master, minimize or tolerate stress and conflict. The psychological coping mechanisms are commonly termed coping strategies or coping skills. The term coping generally refers to adaptive (constructive) coping strategies, that is, strategies which reduce stress. "

So what is yours? Mine is humor mostly, not a good one, but it makes me and my BF laugh our butts off . I am a girl version of Chandler Bing :)

I have many, but I'd say my go-to is definitely music, either writing my own or listening to something. Writing lyrics allows me to say whatever I want to say, either to someone or if it's just what I feel in general, without the pressure of talking to someone in person.

There's no feeling like stepping into a vocal booth with the headphones on, only you and the microphone in there.

I am jealous I could burst right now ;) . My dream was to be a singer, but I am to shy to even sing with myself..
What kind of music?

One way I cope with stress is by remembering advice I received from psychotherapists in the past.
