It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here. I’ve come a long way from contacting suicide message lines and crying myself to sleep. I’ve finally started to let go of my ex and for once in my life I’m actually starting to understand my own self worth. I’ve honestly never felt happier and while there’s always room to grow and I have a long road ahead of me I just wanted to take a moment to cherish my progress and to remind everyone here that it’s important to cherish your victories no matter how small.

So if anyone out there has made major strides in dealing with their mental health, remember to take a moment to recognize how far you’ve come. Whether that victory is climbing a mountain or just getting on an airplane.

Hi Howlingvapor,

Thanks for this timely message. I agree. It's is important that we recognize any strides we make in our anxiety journey and healing.

Keep doing whatever your doing to find some semblance of happiness and check in again.

I am always telling people to not be afraid to reward themselves when they do something good. The reward doesn't have to be something big. Just a way of saying to yourself ' Well done '.
