None of us can deny that it has been a bumper year for celebrity deaths in the UK in 2016.
When I lived in Egypt, my husband told me about an Egyptian singer who had polio when he was a boy and went on to become a very great and famous singer. He died unexpectedly and many of his fans were overcome with grief. So much so that a hefty number of them committed suicide.
With there being so many celebrity deaths this year, I was wondering what everyone thought about the effect that a death of a much loved celebrity can have on someone.
What do you think? Do you think that these poor souls who chose to end it all when their idol died were 'OTT' or do you think that they were depressed already and at risk of suicide?
What do you consider could have been the real reason for those fans taking their own lives?
