hi everyone. i've getting a scan of my ovaries and uterus and 2 weeks, and i'm trying to put it out of my mind, tell myself it will be okay, and chill. But I am driving myself crazy of what they'll find. I'm not really having any issues - I just want to check to make sure all is well. But my mind is going to all the "c" scenarios and life expectancy for each. Please help!

“ Im not really having any issues, I just want to make sure all is well” that should put your mind at ease! I’m sure you would have some other symptoms, other than rectal pressure if there was something really wrong. Rectal pressure is probably pelvic floor issues. I’m actually going for a pelvic floor assessment myself next week, so I understand your worry. I’m sure you’ll be OK!

You are supposed to be in charge, but the anxiety is really in charge. I wish I had a magic wand to wave, but that’s not going to happen. Until you are ready to do something proactive about the anxiety you will be stuck with the irrational worry. You do have a choice and there is help available. In the meantime, I wish you a good outcome on your tests.

Hey Kammie, the pressure feeling can also be because of IBS. Strangely, it also affects that area.
