I live with my grandparents. I tested positive on Thursday November 17th. I had symptoms starting late Tuesday/early Wednesday. I have moderate asthma (exercise induced) and a whole lot of other health problems but take no meds. I only use a CPAP machine for my sleep apnea. I have had pretty easy breathing at night because of the humidified heated air of my CPAP machine. My symptoms so far are: coughing (either dry or productive), slight head pressure, brain fog (couldn't remember what I was crocheting even though I'd been crocheting it all day:banghead:), back ache (mid/upper back), slight muscle weakness (my lower legs), had fever from Wednesday/Thursday (now normal?), Fluctuating between runny nose/stuffy nose, slightly wheezy lungs (urgent care told me it's from covid), get tachycardia (100+ heartbeats per minute) easily. Urgent care told me it's common for heart rate to go up when sick and told me my symptoms could linger longer as an asthmatic person. I have moderate asthma where I can breathe in fully but can't breathe out fully and it mostly seems exercise induced but they've noted wheezing in my lungs when I've had minimal/no noticable symptoms. Anyways with next Thursday being Thanksgiving should my grandparents cancel it or should I just stay in my room like I have been and mask up if I go out of my room to get myself food? It'd be at their house and I got told by urgent care that I'd be covid negative and not contagious anymore if after 5 days (since illness onset) I am fever free for 24 hours, or whatever day I am fever free for 24 hours after day 5 and to wear a mask for 10 days after sickness. They told me there'd be no need to do another COVID test to see if I'm negative. And for any other asthmatic people how long did covid symptoms last for you? I feel so awful.
