Thinking about colours and the effect that colours have on our everyday being, I was wondering if people who are depressed mostly wear darker or lighter colours, and if there is a link between depression and wearing darker colours.
I do suffer from depression but I don't always wear dark colours. Sometimes I wear lighter colours. I love white, but it doesn't stay clean for long!
I don't know if I really feel the different effects that different colours have on me when I wear them.
Having depression also makes me not feel up to dressing up everyday, and I am happy loitering about with comfy leggings and a jumper. Whereas, if I have to go out, I am happy to make myself look presentable for the occasion, whatever that may be.

This is an interesting article about how our mood is affected by the colour of clothes that we wear. Do you agree? Do you think that wearing darker colours can have a negative effect on our moods, or do you think that idea is baloney? What colours do you wear?
