So I started to feel sick on Saturday with a normal cold with usual symptoms stuffy nose cough watery eyes the usual. It’s Wednesday and I’m still experiencing those symptoms, plus I get these headaches right by my eyebrow on my right side. They’re not horrible, just annoying. I know it’s probably nothing, but some of these symptoms match up with Covid19 and I’m anxiety is getting the best of me right now. It’s highly likely that I don’t have it, especially since I’m in Wisconsin where there aren’t many cases, but I’m still worried that I have it and I’m going to give it to the people I live with.

I totally understand how you feel! I've just went through the same thing... i guess the main symptom you want to watch out for is the fever. When I went to the hospital they wouldn't test me because I didn't have a fever even though I needed a breathing treatment.

I’m starting to really freak out about it. Also I think they need to test anyone that asks for it, HA or not. But I get why they can’t do that. Had a trip coming up end of this month we’ve decided to cancel.5 people in my state have it now. This is literally the worse for people with HA or anxiety in general. I’m also having some cold symptoms. I pray we over come this!

I can't sleep either. My health anxiety spiked today and I have worried alternately about a brain bleed from bumping my head on the freezer door, a bite or infected hair follicle that's been itching and getting swollen, then going back down again for days and inspecting my skin for marks an bruises. Just now, I decided that I am having small bleeds under the skin of my right forearm and elbow.
Whenever I know I can't just go to the doctor or hospital easily or safely if I have an emergency, I get anxious. I haven't dealt with it for an extended period though...normally it's just a 2 day freak out fest during storms/snow.

hey, OP... i'm right next to you in minnesota (but i'm originally from wisconsin!) and i totally understand how you're feeling right now. i recently flew to texas and started getting sick the day before i flew home (dry & productive cough, possible fever, runny nose, etc.) it's been a little over two weeks and i feel marginally better. my first thought was "oh no. what if i have it?" followed by "if this is it, i guess it ain't that bad." i'm pretty sure it's just a cold, though.

while people that have eventually been diagnosed with covid19 have complained of things like watery eyes and runny nose, that is not a typical symptom. from what i read, the vast majority of cases begin with fever and dry cough. shortness of breath is also a main symptom.

it is very likely that you have a cold. please try to remember that there is a lot of crud going around right now... colds, seasonal flu...

the most important thing you can do is practice proper hygiene. wash your hands often, use hand sanitizer when you can't wash your hands, cover your cough with your elbow and engage in social distancing.
