Can’t Cross My Fingers?

As it always does, my fear starts out with some random thing I notice. Well the other day I was crossing my fingers to show my daughter and I noticed that I can’t cross my fingers nearly as far as her. Like mine just stop and basically lay on top of each other. My joints feel stiff and know my mind is racing thinking about me having some neurological disorder? Has this happened to anyone else? I’ve attached a picture.

I can cross certain fingers better than others. This is not unusual at all, especially if those joints/muscles aren't very flexible. Which is not a problem, and is very common.

Mine is almost exactly the same as yours. I can’t go past where yours is without manually moving it.

remember, kids are more limber than adults.

fun things about getting older, your body changes.

Just gave it a go and what do you know, had trouble crossing mine too. Never knew that before. Have to more force them, using my other hand, or else I can't cross them at all.

The joints on my dominant hand don't bend very well either, I assume either because bulkier muscles makes it harder or those joints are just overused.

Thanks everyone for the reassurance! It’s tough to think anxiety can do all this stuff, even after I’ve dealt with similar things before. This message board definitely helps! Thanks again!
