Burning Skin

A week ago I noticed a spot on the back of my left hand feeling like it had a sunburn. Small area. Nothing there, no cracks, anything.

It would "burn" for about 5 or so seconds and then go away. Same spot.

Sometimes I think I can go a whole day without feeling it... but I guess when I think about it I feel it the most.

Anyone else deal with this?

I don't know if this willl help but whenever i got very stressful periods in my life i would get a burning sensation in my shoulders, kind of like a sunburn but nothing on the skin.

I feel similar sensations for two weeks now, with the slight pins and needles all over my body.
Mine follows a similar pattern too, When I don't pay too much attention it almost disappears. My skin sunburn sensation is more noticeable especially if clothes touch the areas.
I read once Fibromyalgia has weird skin sensations as symptoms, including sunburn sensation. I am not saying that you have Fibromyalgia. But I know that the flare-ups are almost always triggered by stress. So the skin sensations must be related to anxiety/stress. Because we don't see anything on the skin itself.
My dr this week told me sometimes the nerves can go weird and mess up. Stress can be a big contributor he said.

I have this too. On my back, or arm, sometimes the top of my foot or my calf. it’ll last the whole day, sometimes two, then go away for weeks, Until it comes back, usually in a new spot.

i occasionally get faint burning sensations on my left wrist and up my left arm, especially after ive used that arm a lot. my mum gets it too, has got it all throughout her life, she reckons its a pinched nerve or something like that. i've read about that anxiety symptom too, so it could be that as well, anxiety does super weird things to you lol

Weird, it could have something to do with skin issues. Or skin irritation. Maybe it could be vain flow, or a muscle issue. I guess is has something to do with sunburn, The doctor will tell you what is it exactly. Speak to a doctor.

This sensation has gone away, or I haven't noticed it in awhile. Probably just irritated it or dry skin...
