Hi everyone! I'm a 23 year old female who has never had any health problems. About a month ago i had a dull headache in my forehead which i thought was just from needed a new contact perscription so right away I went to the eye doctor & got new contacts. But ever since I've been experiencing bad brain fog, its best described as just a foggy feeling. It feels like my body is awake but my brain isn't. It's so weird. I used to always get this on days I slept in so i figured it was just from over sleeping & i'd had a coffee and it would instantly go away. But now I've had it for a couple weeks straight & its really bothering me! I went on a cruise two weeks ago & when i was on the cruise it completely went away and i felt fine but now that im back ive had it every day. Sometimes it will go away at night but it comes right back in the morning. I think that im overthinking about it because I have had diarrhea and at times i feel dizzy. Anyone have any suggestions? I drink ALOT of water like my pee is always practically clear lol, i started taking a multivitamin & i eat pretty healthy. I try to go on bike rides when i can & be active.

Hi daniellecorb and welcome. "Brain Fog" is certainly a common symptom of anxiety but it's very telling that it went away (thankfully) when you went on the cruise. Seems there is something during your normal everyday life at home is causing increased anxiety and hence, your brain fog. I've experienced it many times myself, just seems to come and go at its' own will for me. Good luck with it, you're not going crazy.

Yeah! Thats why I think it is anxiety related & nothing serious cause it did go away on vacation. Still weird tho. I do have a cold/allergies so maybe thats playing a part in it too
