Blood Type and Blood Donations

Has anyone ever donated blood? I’ve done it a few times and it’s a great feeling knowing 1 pint can help up to 3 people with medical emergencies.

My blood type is B positive, a rare type in the USA. Type B tends to be in short supply. I might donate again someday. Anyone else know their blood type or have a rare blood type?

I’ve never donated. I’m O RH Negative. O negative is the universal blood type most in demand, for being interchangeable with other blood types type. AB Neg. being the rarest blood type. The study and usage of blood has changed a lot over the years. But no one can underestimate the need for donating blood. It’s a great thing to do.
