Anyone willing to share their colon health scare? Need some perspectives

Currently scared about colon illness possibilities. Need some relief from people who were in the same boat, some symptoms they had. Going to doctor soon

I went through a big colon cancer scare over the last couple of years. I never had a colonoscopy, just ultrasound, X-ray, ct scan. My symptoms were a decent sized list, and when I told my dr my fear, she said “that’s valid” yikes. It was a dark time but hey, I don’t have colon cancer after all
Also I’ll add my step father had it about 10 years ago. His symptoms were very different than mine. (He’s fine now)
