Anyone tried Relora? Other supplements?

Curious as to whether anyone else has used Relora supplements and had any success with them? I have been on and off SSRI's for nearly 20 years. Lately, my health has taken a plunge and I'm in a brain fog, having difficulty working, never feeling rested, more frequent panic attacks, etc. I'm exhausted and it's taking a big toll on my family - I'm 39 and have a five year old son who can't understand why Mommy keeps locking herself away. The guilt and the stress of it feed the anxiety and I'm just looking for some new answers to old questions. Surely it can be better than this? It feels like my life is just slipping away in front of my eyes. So much precious time lost to this...

I'm currently off medication and doing some tests to see if there are other ways to help balance the body symptoms, or other factors like hormone imbalance, etc. Relora was suggested as a natural calming herb that would help lower all the cortisol (stress hormone) in my body. I'm giving it a shot, but curious if others have found supplements or nutritional changes that help with symptoms (adrenaline burning, numbness, out of body feelings, fatigue, etc.). Thanks from a newbie.

Thought I would give this thread a bump, I would be interested in reading people’s experiences with Relora too.

I've never tried Relora but think I might. I don't think I've heard of it before. I take several different herbal supplements for panic attacks and they work well at stopping them once an attack has started. Damiana is one herbal that worked really well, I took it according to the directions - 3 times a day - and I didn't have a panic attack for a week and a half, which was unusual. Then I think the effectiveness wore off because they started again. I haven't tried taking anything else on a daily basis for prevention but at the first sign of a PA - hot/cold flashes, runny nose, etc. - I take one of any of the following" Rhodiola, Kava root, Maca, Ashwagandha or Damiana. As a rule, within 30-45 minutes the attack is going away or gone depending on how bad the attack might be. The good thing about herbals is that if I don't feel enough relief in 45 minutes I can take something else, there are no negative interactions as far as I know. The Rhodiola is excellent and also helps me sleep. But before taking anything one should always research it, especially if you're already taking medication.

From the research I've just done on this supplement, it should not be taken with benzos. Otherwise it sounds like it might be beneficial to us anxiety sufferers.

Yes, good callout!! It is an alternative to benzos - shouldn't be taken together.
