Anyone else here get this where you are confronted by someone that goes on and on talking while you are standing there having an anxiety attack wondering when they will be finished communicating? I just had that one happen to me... never thought it would end...

I would just excuse myself in that situation if it got too uncomfortable and not worry about what that person might think. Sometimes it gets like I'm in another world during a severe panic attack and might be frozen into not being able to leave. Anyway, been there.

Relate to this. Like Triceps said, I'd excuse myself if possible. If I can't, I try to focus on the middle of their forehead to not seem rude and nod away even when I don't know what the heck they're saying lol. It's tough, but I get it.

I simply just start yawning. My own little game. Throw in sorry I am tired, not much sleep last night. But there is an excuse to leave. Just make anything up. You can set your mobile to ring by itself. Have it in your pocket and a simple press of a button. It rings, You have to answer it. Sorry I have to go. Will talk again soon. And away you go. Or just tell them you are expected elsewhere at a certain time.

Only had social Anxiety a small time in my life, beat it by making sure I was out and can talk to people.
Talking is an art and we lose more and more daily do to social media and other things of this nature.
