Hello! I was experiencing slight chest pain a few weeks ago, nothing too serious, but I have SEVERE health anxiety....so after it didn't go away for 4 days, I went to the ER and got xrays, blood work, ekgs, and an ultrasound. Everything turned out completely normal for my heart. But after I went home, I started having some burning in my left shoulder, that sometimes radiated down to my fingetips, into my back and up my neck. I think I have a lot of tension in my shoulders/back...even though I do see a Chiropractor monthly. It's not been 10 days of this burning sensation in my chest etc...I've been to the ER 3 times, and they always say my heart is absolutely fine, I am only 26, a bit overweight and not really "active" I do what I have to do during the day, clean, vacuum, mop, etc. I've changed my diet over the past few months, I dont drink soda or coffee at all, I avoid super fatty foods, I eat tons of veggies and some fruit, I love chicken...I'm just having a hard time pin pointing this pain.

If you're 26 and have already been checked out by doctors, the chances of you having a heart problem that would cause pain are nil. Zero.

How are you feeling? I recently posted about something similar. Lots of tension and muscle tingles!! I hope you’re okay!

When the mind is anxious, the body tenses up, waiting for the signal to flee or fight. A lot of physical complaints are due to the constant state of tension in the muscles. The muscles can even cause our organs to move out of their normal position. You’ve got to understand all this to be able to make sense of why you are having the physical symptoms. What happens when you exercise? You clench/tense your muscles and after a certain amount of this clenching, you can make your muscles sore. Anxiety does the same thing, we’re just not fully conscious of it like when we deliberately exercise the muscles

Could well be chostrocondritis, I had it when I was younger and the pain feels identical to online descriptions of heart pain.
