It can certainly be difficult, even seemingly impossible, to talk about these things with people who don't (or can't) understand it first hand. I understand that. I sometimes feel frustrated when a friend or family member says "you'll be fine, just ignore it." I have to remind myself that they can't possibly understand, without being in the same mind set I'm in. And that's perfectly okay, I know they mean well.

I also have it good, overall. Great career, great family / few friends, a home, etc. Still, I often find myself anxious and worried especially about my physical health. That just goes to show that it doesn't matter how good life is, anyone is still prone to the darkness. I mean, look at celebrities who battle depression and such. Everyone thinks "wow, they're so lucky, they've got it made" but that celebrity may be in a very dark place, personally.
