Hi

I’ve been driving myself insane with anxiety about Covid. I’m currently off of work & I don’t want to go back I’m terrified. I panic going into supermarkets (I’ve done my 14 days isolation). I can return to work but the thought of it’s making me feel like I’m going to have a nervous breakdown. I’m a keyworker & I just don’t want to put myself or family at risk by returning. Is anyone else really suffering bad?
How do you cope?
Not watching the news helped me.
I just hope work will be understanding I don’t want to lose my job on top of everything else!
I’m supposed to be starting a new job as well but I don’t want to do any work until this is over. My other half is off until further notice. I want to be at home with him & spend time with him I may never get a chance like this again for time off like this. It probably doesn’t help that I totally hate my job hence why I was just changing it before I got signed off! I’m actually scared of everything at the moment & it’s making me feel ill & ****! Any help & positivity would be so much appreciated Thank you! Stay safe & well all.

Yes, my situation is different, but I am also having a really hard time. I hope you're starting to feel a little better since you posted.

This covid-19 thing is making me crazy and feeling sick too. My last terrible attack was last November and it started to spiked when the pandemic became worse.

Don'tBurstMyBubble, I've found that not watching the news on TV has been helpful to me as well, although I do watch it a little bit in order to stay informed.

I've also found that watching sitcoms and movies on TV that have nothing to do with the virus helps keep my mind off it.
