I listened to a good podcast today that talked about looking at anxiety like a habit and using the tools that work to break bad habits to treat anxiety. About 20min in Dr Brewer talks about health anxiety and dreaded Dr Google. Some good info in the podcast, link below. Dr Brewer wrote a book, Unwinding Anxiety, which outlines how he treats his patients with anxiety. I’m going to see if our library has it.
