Yes I get anxious when an appliance breaks!!! recently a part of my dishwasher broke, PC Richard doesnt do weekends so i have to do it on a week day! I worry about cost, If it is work replacing or getting a new machine!! I konw this is not unusual but i real as if it is the equivalant to my house being set on fire! I try to fight it however, it still gets the better of me! Im the same way with my car should it break down! I want to stop this insanity!

i always say things be fixed or replaced. Is annoying if anything goes wrong. But it could be far worse. At least you are not in danger. Try look at it that way. It is only a dishwasher. At worst you will have to wash the dishes for a week or two with your hands. if it needs fixing get a quote on the price. Ask the repair person what the chances of it happening again are. Then make your mind up on having it fixed or getting a new one. just don't allow it to make your health suffer because of it.
