Anxiety about intrusive thoughts

So I’ve been on Lexapro 10 mg for about 10 months. It’s been good so far. I’ve started to notice the intrusive thoughts coming back at times. The thought I had was to pull over on the side of the roadway and jump off the bridge. (Crazy huh ). I would never want to do this but the thought still seems to be there. Just wandering if anyone has any vet experienced this before. Even with the medication slowing the anxiety this still seems to be there at times. I don’t understand why I keep having these thoughts. Any advise would be much appreciated.

I get intrusive thoughts too. It isn't easy to not stress over them. Just remember, thoughts are just thoughts. You've had them before, and nothings come from it.

I know. But it’s still difficult some days. Thank you for the encouragement.
