Am I at the risk of sepsis

Hello guys I was scratching my feet really hard because of itchiness because of my long nail I made a small wound and it started to bleed well my mail long probably it was dirty and had bacteria am I risk of getting sepsis getting anxious

hello getting sepsis from this small wound is unlikely. Most cases of sepsis are from dirty tools. to get sepsis you must have had too much bacteria on your nail. i have scratched myself so many times so i don't think you are going to get it

Agreed. They recommend getting a tetanus shot every 10 years so, no rush as this scratch means nothing, but when the COVID thing finally ends and you can see doctors personally (maybe you can where you are) good idea to get a booster.
