All Kinds of Vision Stuff

I have recently been struggling with thinking I have a neurological problem. I’ve had a couple panic attacks and now for over a month I’ve had weird vision stuff that I’ve never experienced before.

It started off with blurry vision and lights at night getting a halo and streaks of light coming towards me when I blink. I went to the optometrist and he said I’ve had no vision changes and have 20/20 vision and my eye structure is healthy. He recommended eye drops for dry eye.

Now, I’m getting more weird stuff that’s even hard to explain. It’s like my eyes feel stuck and when I watch a game on tv it’s like my eyes are fixated at the center and I can’t see the score in the corner of the screen like I used to without moving my eyes towards it. When watching my daughter’s softball game through a fence my eyes kept crossing like they didn’t know what to focus on. My neck feels like it’s tilted all the time and my phone and computer is crooked when I look at it. I don’t know if it’s tunnel vision, I didn’t know that could be a long lasting thing. I’ve been on and off Buspirone. I just don’t know what else to do, nothing seems to get better. It’s just one weird vision symptom after another.

There are two main organs that can be be badly affected by anxiety, the eyes and hearing. The eyes are very delicate instruments and any sress or strain can affect them. As you have seen an optician and been told it's all ok believe them. Let the flashes, squiggly lines, spots, and blurring all come with utter acceptance. I know that as soon as you get these symptoms you begin to fear them, if not actually panic. Acceptance is not easy, but it can be done given the will. Try not to add fear to fear.
Hearing can also be affected. Ringing and 'noises off' can become a nuisance. Also anxiety can affect our balance mechanism which is located in the ears. It's why dizziness can be another anxiety symptom.
We are constantly fooled and bluffed into false beliefs in anxiety especially HA. You say you are 'struggling' with all this. NO! Try not to fight and struggle. All that does is perpetuate the fear.
There is also a complaint called 'Silent migraine', You get all the constellations and squiggly lines but no pain. The only explanation for this is anxiety once you have been told you are ok.
