So I'm mildly getting more and more afraid of sepsis. Like when the bloodstream gets infected. I'm afraid despite ever since I was little I've been picking at skin on my fingers. They don't look too good, but I try to wash my hands whenever I can. Despite that, I'n afraid the one time I forget to wash my hands or go too long without washing, that will be the one time that something gets into my bloodstream. I'm just really scared. And I read survivor stories long ago to see what to look out for. Most of these people pass out, or they feel terrible. Fevers. Some medicines don't work. I'm just scared because its for the most part silent. I'm 15, but I'm still so worried about it.

Your body is a magic magic thing and heals it's self and protects itself I can assure you the chances of you developing sepsis are highly unlikely what do you do to combat the worries?

Well said, @Footballmadness2019 .

Sepsis is no light matter. It's very serious, and often sets in very quickly. My cousin once had sepsis following a surgery (she's fine now), and she said it was absolutely the worst feeling she's ever felt. Everyone is different, but that's basically what I've heard / read any time I've seen sepsis mentioned.

Was the one thing they were trying to keep at bay for me last year when I was in hospital with the burst ulcer. No idea what they had me on. As I was out of it. But it was strong stuff. And it worked. With all the poison in my blood system from the burst ulcer. It can happen with such things. But again, there has to be a reason for it. Grace you have a thousand and ones fears. None of them have ever really happened. This one won't happen either.
