I don't think my other post has been seen. I'm really worrying and winding myself up about bowel or digestive issues. Cancer is always in my mind like I said a doctor would be able to tell if something was seriously wrong as he done a DRE and 3 months ago I had a FoBT which came back negative. Are all my symptoms like gas and loose poop stress?

high stress levels can affect gut health, we have what is referred to a Microbiome that is mainly in our intestines, this is where all your many bacteria interact with every nutrient and fiber that you ingest and things like stress, antibiotics, and certain pro-inflammatory foods can affect how the gut responds, this includes both loose and hardened stools, excessive gas, cramping and pain from inflammatory response.

and i see in your other post you ate pasta, im thinking theres a possibility of there being a sauce (tomato) ans possibly cheese as well. a triple whammy in terms of inflammatory response. We might not always have an intolerance to certain foods, they can develop over time. pasta for its gluten, tomatoes are a nightshade which can affect the intestinal lining, and dairy which has casein which some people are intolerant to as well
