Hi,

I have IBS stool issues and LLQ pain. Recently, I have been feeling pain in my RUQ and it seems to move to the back. I am terrified that I have colon cancer (been scared since February) that has now spread to the liver. Liver enzymes were normal at my physical in May. Has anyone had this pain before? I’m hoping it’s just muscle and stress related...

I am currently having RUQ pain and I would bet it's my gallbladder but I've had ultrasounds and nothing shows out of the normal. My gastroenterologist said I may have a low functioning gallbladder which isn't life threatening, I just need to watch my diet. :) go see your doctor if it continues!!

I have IBS and have the same pains you are talking about. They are more severe when my anxiety is high. It never hurts to go to the dr. and make sure it isn't anything serious. I have a very strong feeling they will tell you what you feel is normal for IBS.

I'm right there with you :(
I had totally normal blood work in July, but that only calms me so much. I do think mine is most likely musculoskeletal. It's worse when I worry about it, and if I'm keeping busy I usually don't notice it at all. I've gotten some core strengthening exercises that I'm working on, so my plan is to give it a couple of weeks and see if I notice any improvement.
Does anything make yours better or worse?

It's much better when my anxiety is lifted. But it always acts up when I am stressed.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I’m the same way where if I’m not focusing I don’t notice it!! I did yoga and it helped for a day but then I had so indigestion and it’s back :( I’ve frequently have loose stools when this happens (and I for the life of me cannot digest veggies when my stomach acts up)
