i woke up this morning with literal whole body (arms, back, legs, feet) beyond sore. if i so much as lightly touch any area, it is extremely uncomfortable. i am currently laying down on a bed after stretching which did nothing to help me. i also have crazy chills when i’m not curled in a ball. i have a feeling these could be just period pains, but my whole body??? i have to walk around a lot today, but we are stopping by CVS. is there anything i can do to make my whole body feel better. i don’t think i’m sick (knock on wood) but i am in a tremendous amount of pain. it feels like pins and needles coursing through my body. please help.

I tend to agree with @guitarman65. When my wife got the flu this year she complained of muscle soreness being worse than she'd ever had with the flu. I'd keep a rest room in sight for awhile.

It does sound like the flu. Usually you run a fever with it. Sometimes I get pins and needles feeling in my arms and legs and feet and back but no pain. Have no idea why. Tylenol usually works when I have pain. Hope you feel better soon. Of course if it is the flu you have a while before it starts to let up.

I know its hard but try to ride it out and let it happen honey. The more you try to fight the flu the stronger it gets. Let go and get some rest. Rest, fluids, comfort and time. Let the pin and needles feeling happen , it will pass. If you have to vomit, then vomit. That will pass too. Just have to take it easy & ride it out. Flu often takes about 7-10 days to fully recover, with the 3rd day traditionally being the worst for people.
