One of those times again. End of the year, academic pressure piling up on me, and have so many deadlines that I must meet.
It has gone so bad I'm currently on the way to my psychiatrist to get a higher dosage of meds. I feeling like I'm slowly losing touch with myself, but even worse--

No one understands. My teachers? Oh boy. My friends? Some of them are still in the stage of saying "Just don't be anxious", so I'm just really frustrated.
I am even sometimes too mentally tired and unsure of myself to give advice on this site.

Honey God bless you! This forum is not just for you to come on and give advice. It's also for you to come on and share how you are feeling. If you are not up to giving then it is your time to receive. That is what makes the world go round.

Now to your current feelings. It is good that you are going to your doctor to get a higher dose of meds. Don't tell your mates how you are feeling if they don't understand. You are okay because you have us for that. You have us that you can come to when you need to talk and you won't be judged either. It's easy for them to say not to be nervous but they don't suffer it themselves so they don't know what they are talking about.

When they do that, just walk away and ignore their comments. Feel sorry for them for sure and pray that they will learn compassion sometime during their lives.

With your work that you need to do, okay, so just do it. Do one bit at a time and keep at it. Listen to study subliminal as they will help you greatly and spend at least a quarter hour every day in meditation.

I'm sending you the biggest hug ever and I hope it makes you feel loved. :cat:

It makes me feel very loved, thank you so much. It means a lot to me, I don't hear about such understanding and touching words a lot.
I just feel like anxiety is such a long battle, and perhaps an actual part of me as well. It's not like other problems which you can get rid of and tackle, since it is in me and all i can do is to live with it, hopefully peacefully, for a long time. There are random flares, and I feel weak sometimes because of that. I plan to work hard to do anything I can to change perhaps a small bit of the world. I dream to be a psychologist. But it is in these times which I'm uncertain of myself, and think I can never function "normally" or be accepted as a long-term friend or partner.
