Anyone have any good positives to living with OCD? As a sufferer, it's obviously easy to get down and focus on all of the negatives, but do you feel there are any good things that come from having it? I think it's an interesting topic to discuss..

Hi Movietime and welcome to the forum. I've heard of some people having OCD and not be able to stop cleaning their house. Considering I suffer from procrastination, to have OCD and clean my house sounds appealing. For the person who is suffering it though can feel like they are going through torment.

Yes, this can definitely a positive and a negative combined because you get the really clean house, but also have to deal with the torment and stress of the rigorous cleaning process.

Cleaning is one thing that really bores me. It annoys me that dusting especially, needs doing again, all of it will need doing again so it's never completed. This is what winds me up about housework. Also, getting into that rigorous cleaning each time I find it hard to deal with.

I hate to get up and do anything to be honest with you. It just feels like life isn't worth getting out of bed for. I would sleep 18 hours a day if I could.
