Please stop feeling bad. I bet if I tried to speak your language. .. I would be in the same boat. Here you are... speaking English to us right now and I understand every word that you are saying . I believe that the uncomfortably you feel is from your own making. And if people are judging you.. Then they are not good people then and you should just ignore them. They are not worth it. Congratulations on how well your speaking English. ..keep up the good work and in no time... you will speak it flawlessly. Welcome to the forum.

Hi Skalak nice to meet you here!

Your command of the English language seems to be very good and understandable. You are doing the right thing by coming on here and talking about how you feel. You are using the language and at the same time releasing your feelings which is great.

I lived in Egypt for 9 years and learned to read and write it. It was crazy learning another language as everyone speaks English but I did enjoy it.

Don't be nervous. Instead, know how we are all proud of you. Even if you make mistakes, it doesn't matter because you are making that effort to learn something. Please don't feel down, you are really worthy of what you are doing. It isn't easy learning another language, so well done.

Thank You :) I know that learning new language must require a lot of time and practice as well but I have a problem . I always think that I forgot all when I have a break while learning English. ( Even one day) then I get tired and angry . I had never given up when I got this feeling but it is sad to fight with myself again and again .. and doubt same all time . My psychology tell me : You never pick up anything . So..I repeat always the same things again and again in basic form . Beginning of anything forever . Crazy life . I hate this feeling . I know that it is My birth right to learn new things and here is proof that I can ....but tomorrow morning will go down to cellar at the beginning. :/ It is My dream to speak English ...maybe here is the problem ..

You are already speaking English, and writing it too. That is something to be proud of. You are doing really well. There are some people who live in the UK for years and never learn the word 'hello' let alone read and write it like you are.

Hi @skalak30 learning a language is hard especially if you are not surrounded by it. I am originally from Germany and now live in London. I really fully learned to speak and properly write English since I live here.
It helps however, to listen to audiobooks, watch English TV and movies. Before i moved, I used to listen everyday to a radio play called: Cabin Pressure.
It’s so funny and you learn phrases and real English and not the school book English. I think that is the problem with learning any language, the school book method.
If you expose yourself to the language you will get a feeling for the proper times and prepositions etc.

Yes. I agree with You in 100 % . Schools kill energy of people who want to get understanding of knowledge in other way . I think that it is intended purpose . Government and big company don't want to see the people as self-sufficient unit. We must pay for taxes and spend life in narrow block-flats .

A good way to learn a language as well, which I used to do with Arabic, is to write it down, just one word per day. That word you learn the meaning and the spelling of it.

Another helpful thing to do is read a book and copy it. Every word that you come across that you don't know the meaning, look it up. Because you are writing, you will find that you get used to the words quite quickly and learn as you go with practice.

Yes I know that writing is really helpful . I constantly check My words (because I think that they are still incorrect) ..
english has quite different pronunciation in relation to writing .. for learners it is a big problem because We can't remember how words looks like and reverse - > how do say it . Comparing to mother language is the next problem. In short view. If I can speak in english I must stop thinking about My language. ..

It is hard to come to the level of understanding a language, that you are actually thinking in English. I now live in London for over 3 years now and I now can say that I’m thinking and dreaming in English. I still have to translate some works from German to English or the other way around.

I’m not too sure what you mean to be honest.
I know however, that you can get certificates for your language skills in order to attend university in England.
They are quite useful, even if you don’t go to uni and want to work. Every employer in the uk would be happy to know that their new employee has good English skills.

How about doing a local course at your local college or school. Many schools do adult evening courses. You can find details of them at your local library.

No I think it won't help because it is still unnatural learning . I can alone learn new words or grammar and don't want to hear learners with false pronunciation .. I need exactly the same voice as native speaker uses .

Linguaphone is very good. I learned Arabic with Linguaphone. You just repeat what they say it's really easy. You get to pronounce your words as you practice along with the tape. Or CD. There could well be a course online or a tutor. Like I said before, read aloud and talk to all the English speaking people you meet in English and that will give you practice.
