Sudden Fear of getting covid

35 m, Im from India and now the situation here is absolutely horrible... i was pretty much in a good shape untill tonight... suddenly i feel very tired, dehydrated and kinda a feverish though thermometer shows 98.6....

Im scared to death that i might have contracted covid.... 2 of my friends got and had developed serious infection and was kept in o2... im worried now that this is gonna hurt me too... i haven't yet had my jab... again coz of fear of blood clot due to vaccination....

feeling so bad and dreaded now...

Is very bad in India right now. Get yourself tested. Better safe than sorry. If it comes back negative ask about the vaccine. Ask yourself which would you rather have, a blood clot or Covid?

98.6 is not a fever.

While I understand the concern of side effects, my goodness from what we are hearing about the situation in India, any chance to get the vaccine should be taken immediately.

Kishore, perhaps I’m recalling incorrectly, but didn’t you post last year that you had contracted COVID? If so, there might be immunity (for how long though?) that you’d benefit from. Regardless, please get tested and jabbed at your first opportunity.

Good luck, and prayers to all the good people of India as they struggle through this. There will be peace on the other side of this current situation.

Guys thanks dor responding, i took the AZ jab 2 days before... now im literally in hell... pounding heartbeat... anxiety has peaked so much.... no fever till now.... but feeling extremely nauseated.... threw up once this morning.... im seriously worried...

That would be the side effects of the vaccine. Is harder on some people than others. You can both heat up and cool down. Have heard these same words many a time from people who got the same vaccine.

Thanks for responding Cuchculan, Is there any threads related to this post vaccine symptoms?...its just 3 days since i took the jab and already feel so weak and my anxiety has gone 50 times high... im worried i might get any blood clot etc.... many of my friends took and they had just fever and are now back to work... why it has to be me everytime

I think your anxiety is making it much worse for you. You are expecting certain side effects to happen. Like blood clots. Probably because you read about them. Your mind has taken over. Just need to try and relax it up some and I am sure you will be all good in no time at all.

My wife got the AZ and was ill for almost a week. Seems that’s the way it is for many with AZ. This too shall pass
