Here goes my stupid hypochondriac mind again.
I’m thinking I’m just going to use this thread to get my questions answered to put me at ease.
So I still, even though I just turned 18, am battling some spotty acne.
I was just at my haircut, and while my stylist was working on me, his comb nicked one of my acne bumps on my forehead and made it bleed. He took one of his cloths that he uses and pressed down on the bleeding to get it to stop.
Should I be concerned about stuff getting in it? I’m just really not sure why I’m fretting about this.

I worry about that kind of thing. Cuts on my body. Worried that if I don't keep them cleaned, I'll get sepsis. That's what I suggest you do. Keep it clean. Peroxide is less abrasive. If you can handle pain, try alcohol on it. Cotton pad. And then maybe a band aid if you have one. If not, let it heal. Make sure there's no puss or anything. I'd only start worrying if you start feeling sick, and/or start a fever. Otherwise, not that big of a deal.

Thanks for your reply Grace. I should’ve been a little more specific, it wasn’t really a cut or anything, it was just my acne popping basically because he nicked it with his comb, so I don’t think it’s a cut.
As soon as I got home though, what I did was put soap on it, had it sit for about 5 minutes, and then washed it off. Nothing strong, just soap and water, the basics.

EDIT: It has already scabbed over, so I'm assuming that's a good thing.

Guys! I'm in full blown panic mode right now, and I could use some help.
This morning when I woke up, I noticed a huge black splotch on my left foot, which turned out to be a scab after my mom looked at it. Not sure how long it had been there for, but it really concerned me. As soon as I knew it was a scab, I washed it off with soap and water. The scab came right off whenever I put the water on it (because my water pressure in my shower is a lot), and then I soaped it off without the scab on it.
When I came out to get Neosporin and a bandaid, I showed my dad and he said it looked fine, but I'm still scared that I left it untreated for too long and that it is going to get infected.
How do I know that this won't happen? Because I'm really scared right now, and I'm afraid it's going to get infected :(

As long as you keep it cleaned, it should be fine. I usually make extra sure and use either peroxide or alcohol. And then wrap it with a band aid so nothing else can get in. I say as long as you don't feel a fever or sick, your fine, and you won't get an infection. I know how hard it is. But you can do this!

Thank you as always Grace. Unfortunately, I do not have any peroxide or alcohol handily available, but I will continue to make sure I keep it clean with soap.

Another fear has popped up today, and I’m really scared about this one.

Usually I have a bowel moment every other day, but it’s now Friday and I still have not had a bowel movement since Monday. I’m afraid I have a bowel obstruction and I’m really scared because I know how dangerous those can be.

How do I know that I don’t have that? I’m really scared guys.

EDIT: This last bowel movement may have also happened on Tuesday, I’m not 100% certain. I’ve lost track of the days and track of my last bowel movements.

I want to ask a quick curiosity question to you all. It's not possible to still have a bowel obstruction after a bowel movement, correct?
