Brand new member looking for help

Hi everyone my name is Pete and I suffer for anxiety pretty bad...

I had a REAL bad up bringing for a VERY SICK SOB sorry about. I carry a lot of anger and feel scared at the same time. I'm a fit gut that can defend himself and I still feel like a child at times that is going to be touched and hit.

My biggest issues are ANYTIME I'm alone I feel anxious and feel scared and don't know why.... I have a great career I'm a Christian man that plays drums on the worship team and I feel like I'm hiding from it. When I'm alone I feel like I'm not alone if that makes sense... I'm not a weirdo either. I'm very normal but I have this stupid condition that WILL not leave me alone...

I have a heart condition called Afib with SVT but I think ALOT of it comes from my anxiety...Been to hospital over 10 time to have my heart shocked back Ito rhythm;.... I noticed I was very stressed out at the times it goes out.

Any help would be so crazy cool! anyone have the samething? or close to it from childhood abuse.

This is my first time visiting this site and your's is the first post I've read. I'm sorry to hear about what you went through as a child I can imagine you are left with some pretty big mental/emotional wounds. It sounds like you have every right to be angry about it and you deserve peace in your life. I have dealt with anxiety on and off for about 6 years, it initially started in the form of panic disorder stemming from the fear of being alone and health worries. I'm a Christian as well and have found certain pieces of scripture to help me maintain peace through my fear. Whatever may be bothering you/attacking you when you're alone, try to turn your attention away from it (sounds easier than it is I know). I few verses that help me: 2 corinthians 12: 9-11, 1 John 4:4 & Philippians 4:8. Anxiety is a destroyer of the mind and wants to bring you down. I've struggled for years and still do. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to the hospital thinking I was having a heart attack...and I'm only 29!

Thank you so much for the Scripture! Ive never went to hospital for it I just feel so unplugged and like Im being lifted up..Im totally not being weird even though it sounds weird I just don't know how to describe it...
