ugh! I totally forgot my school iPad at home today, so I was unable to show my English teacher my homework when I got to class. He put in the hw as a F and now my average is a 75. I’m normally an extremely good student and this is the first time I have ever screwed up in that class. I emailed him the homework once I got home and all he did was thank me, but he never changed the grade. I understand it won’t be a 100, but when I asked about showing it to him another time, he said I’d get a “couple points off”. I’m just really stressed bc this tiny little thing just completely jeopordized my grade.

Aww, that sounds like it sucks (and should actually suck too). How much does this homework mean to your grade? Since your teacher said he would take "a couple of points off", I think he would grade it and at least not put a F after all. Still unpleasant, I know, but I think all students mess up here and there at least a few times. How are you feeling about this right now?

I'm still a bit angry and frustrated Bc he hasn't changed the grade yet... I'm going to have to confront him tomorrow but I'm a little nervous Bc he's known to "call people out". Thank you for your reply it means a lot

So how's it? Remember to take care of yourself mentally and comfort yourself on this matter, apart from getting those marks back. Because it's only a minor setback and you have years to go!

Hey! Thank for checking back. He still hasn’t changed even though I spoke to him. However, I realize that in the long run, this is only going to be a small portion 9f the grade. He says he tends to bum0 up grades if you usually do your work. Thanks again!
