I like Kava, but like many have mentioned here, be weary of supplements. I like to know I have pure Kava Kava. Its great for assisting in meditation! I love herbal remedies. I have not/will not turn back to medications ever probably.

In New Zealand where I am from the price has gone up as well and I think a bag of kava can be nearly $50 dollars or up and it depends on who you buy it from as well and I did have some recently when I went from the South island to the North Island for a visit in Auckland, and I had a few bowls the first time and was able to eat quite a bit and the second time I had it nearly filled me up and only was able to eat a little bit food which took me some time to digest. Kava can be alright for a few bowls and it can relax you and it can be considered as a drug as well though not as dangerous as other substances and in Fiji where it is grown taxes are not paid so the government is not benefiting from the profits and deals made. Kava is not going to give you strange dreams and can make you feel sleepy if you drink too much and quite full when trying to consume a meal and the taste of kava is not sweet and looks like muddy water and it is a natural drink with nothing else added to it, people can add something to it to make it a bit sweeter and it may make them have more then they want to in the process.
