... what kind of animal would you be?  I think it would be cool to be a ray.  They're beautiful, they get to hang out in the ocean where it's warm and bask in the sun, and not many things eat them, so it's a fairly safe life.  The only problem I would have is that they eat shellfish and crustaceans, and I don't like seafood.  Can you get pizza delivery in the ocean?

I think I would want to be a domestic cat or dog in a loving family. I mean you get to be fed, petted, don't have any responsibilities, eat, sleep and play all day. Get people to care for you , and worry about you. You don't have to have a job or pay taxes...I mean many of them live the life of riley...for the young among you, that means the good life!

I would want to be my dog specifically. She's such a sassy and loved girl. However, she is very spoiled and very much a part of the family. And if I were here, I would stay off the stove and stop giving the human me grief at dinnertime! hehe

I've always liked elephants as they seem to have a free life where they can wander around, and are big enough no one will really attack them. They always seem so placid, yet powerful, as in they could trample people to death, and use their tusks to protect themselves.

Other than maybe an owl, as I lead a mainly nocturnal life, except for the flying of course!

I would be a lion! I have given this question some thought ever since I was a kid. I would love to roam around and not feel like I had anything to be afraid of. I want to be king of the desert and I want to have a pack under me. I would also love to hunt and protect my followers. Does that sort of sound like I want to be a leader of a cult? As I was typing it, I started to think that. lol

I would want to be a shark or a black panther.  I just really like sharks, I would want to be a mako because they are really fast swimmers and can jump a couple feet out of the water.  But I really love cats, I partially like jaguars and it would be cool to live in the Amazon.  I also like the idea of cat naps since sharks don't really sleep like we do.

I would probably be a cat. I've always been a cat person. I would love to be the king of my own time. I'd sleep when I want to and do all the stupid things cats do when I want. As long as the family I'd live me provides me with amazing food, warm house, love and a box (you know cat's just love boxes) to sleep in, I would be OK.

A turtle - it plays to my social anxiety, I guess. Sometimes I just need to be in my shell - other times I peek out a bit, and check out the world around me - but I always have the comfort of the shell if I need it.

I'd like to be a bird, preferably one that is on top of the food chain and not hunted by humans. I have always wanted to fly but I've always wanted to do so without adding anything like contraptions or special clothes or even more so flying in a vehicle which is why even though I've always been interested in flying I've never been particularly curious about aviation.

Maybe a cat. They're cute and cuddly and small so they can fit through small spaces. :p

If I would be an animal, I choose to be a bunny. I always want to have a bunny pet and would want to have one soon. Of all the animals, they are the ones that I truly love as bunnies are cheerful, witty, adorable, playful and they always love to cuddle, so am I :)

Reading through these posts at first made me think that I would choose to be one of my dogs. What a cushy life they have without any thoughts of painful things and a life full of playtime hours. But then it hit me, my social anxiety come to the fore and said to me 'No Jane, you would rather be the Loch Ness Monster' and live under the water where no one can see you, and no one knows if you really exist at all!

If I could be an animal I would pick a cat. I'm definitely a cat lover. There is a certain grace and agility about them. Hopefully I would be with a great family who takes good care of me, and gives me plenty of TLC.

Hmmm... I would like to be a cat as well. But only one of MY cats. They have it all. Two huge cat climbers, one with a perfect view out the window so they can almost see the entire neighborhood....they eat the best, expensive food, sleep whenever they want (with NO sleep problems, unlike many of us) ;)....and pretty much do whatever they want whenever they want. :):cat::cat::cat::cat::cat: (I have 5 - an entire family, Mama with 4 adult babies, kept them all.)

But feral outdoor cats, during the winter...I honestly don't know how they survive. When it's only 3 degrees and so cold that all they can do is hide to stay warm and alive, how do they even have the energy to go out searching for food?? Or water?? When everything is frozen solid, where can they get water? They probably starve for days or maybe even weeks on end. And WHERE do they hide? It's not like they're raccoons that are built with extra layers of fat and they know to bulk up in the Fall so they'll be warm all winter while they semi-hibernate in very well-planned and organized winter hiding spots. I just feel so bad for those outside cats, I don't know how they survive the winters. I think about that all the time. :( I will feed any outside cat I come across, but there are just so many of them out there trying to make it on their own. Something so unfair about that. I think if I was a wild outdoor cat and lived here in MI during the cold winter months, I'd probably throw myself under a moving car just to end the misery. :dead:

I'll be a rabbit. They are adorable, pretty, smart and funny. I've had some rabbits through my life and I just find them amazing. I love their curiosity, they never stop searching for ways to do things, and they outsmart a lot of people. Probably my best option it will be to be a home rabbit so I wouldn't have to bother on finding food and shelter, plus I could have nice ribbon ties.

I have never thought of this question before and do I honestly donot know which animal I would like to be.

Since I lovr tigers and leopards, I might choose one of them. They are beautiful and ferocious creatures with powerful paws. They are also very graceful and quiet animals.

A dragon! :p

But seriously, I think an Australian Magpie. They are intelligent, friendly and lovely birds.
Other choices would be a cat, beluga whale, cheetah, or coyote.
